Rivington and Blackrod High School was inspected in January 2013. The
inspectors observed 62 part-lessons. Meetings were held with leaders, staff,
and members of the governing body, students and a representative of the local
Documents relating to students' progress in their learning, checks on how well the school is doing, improvement planning, behaviour and safety were analysed. Parents' views were taken into account through the school's recent surveys, a small number of phone calls from parents, and the 63 responses to the on-line questionnaire (Parent View).
