Community cohesion and relationships are very important to us, and we work with partners to offer the best enrichment opportunities for learning and development.  Our relationship with partners from a wide range of settings and sectors enables us to share skills and helps us to be at the forefront of educational provision.

Our recognition as an 'Investor in People' with champion status demonstrates our success and commitment to the professional development of our staff, colleagues from other institutions and new entrants to the profession.

Close connections with industry are an integral part of raising awareness of the business world.  We arrange visiting speakers, visits to universities and business organisations and facilitate apprenticeship schemes, conferences and projects.  We encourage all students to participate in making decisions to help the school and education to move forward, through schemes including our student senate, peer mentoring, health ambassadors and community action projects.

We do hope that you will get involved in supporting us at Rivington and Blackrod High School.  Should you need any further information from us, do not hesitate to contact us on 01204 333266.
